Therapy dogs supporting well-being in schools

Our mission is to improve children’s mental health and learning outcomes by providing carefully trained therapy dogs to schools. Through compassion, connection, and evidence-based animal-assisted support, we help students build resilience, confidence, and emotional balance.
Our therapy dogs support students who may feel anxious or lack confidence when reading. Children can read aloud to a calm, non-judgemental companion, helping to build confidence, improve literacy skills, and create positive reading experiences.
Therapy dogs can help students regulate emotions during moments of stress or overwhelm. Their calming presence can support de-escalation, helping pupils feel safe, grounded, and ready to re-engage with learning.
Our dogs can work alongside teachers within the classroom to promote calm, engagement, and positive behaviour. Their presence can help create a relaxed learning environment and encourage student participation.
For pupils who struggle with separation anxiety or starting the school day, our therapy dogs can provide a welcoming and reassuring presence at the school gates, helping children transition into the school environment more confidently.
During exam periods, therapy dog sessions can help reduce stress and anxiety. Short interactions with therapy dogs can help students relax, refocus, and feel more prepared to perform at their best.
Our therapy dogs can support students experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance by helping them feel safer and more comfortable attending school. Gentle, structured interactions can build trust, reduce anxiety, and support gradual reintegration into the school environment.
